About Dr. Shailesh Kumar Mishra

Dr. Shailesh Kumar Mishra is an experienced academic and researcher with a background in Environmental Science and Zoology. He holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Science from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University and a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Lucknow, with research work carried out in collaboration with the National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources.

With more than 19 years of teaching experience, Dr. Mishra has been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education as well as academic and research activities. His areas of academic interest include plant science, biodiversity assessment and conservation, biomonitoring of environmental pollution, and human values and ethics.

He has contributed research papers to national and international journals and has participated in conferences, workshops, refresher courses, and faculty development programmes. His academic experience provides a strong foundation for his contribution to a textbook dealing with environmental studies and human values.
